As for your little ones, I'm a mother too and I know what it's like to want to show the world how beautifully they're growing, without putting their face on the internet. So alongside the regular photographs, I can shoot frames made to carry the emotion, especially for social media, without a face.
I tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands and when to look at each other. The rest takes care of itself.

I'm a photographer and graphic designer based in Brașov, a mother, and the founder of Lil' Dots. I have a bachelor's degree in Film, Radio and Television from CCCU in the UK, and my passion for photography began long before I ever photographed people; I first found myself drawn to very small worlds. Then, after almost three years of photographing my daughter nearly every day, I looked back and realised how fast time goes by and how grateful I am that I kept those memories. Now I am here for other parents who want to create a time capsule for their little ones too.
When I edit family photographs, I don't feel they're finished until I can find in them the connection I saw during the session. Sometimes I catch myself smiling alone at a photograph, and that is my favourite part. Any day I know I've used my creativity to preserve a memory that will mean so much to someone years from now is a wonderful day.

my little muse and assistant.
Before I photographed families, couples or portraits, I started with her.
Melissa is my daughter and, since the day she was born, she has been my little muse. Every month I tried to take the most original photographs I could, to capture the way she grows and all those moments I know I'll one day be so grateful I kept.
And Melissa isn't just my muse, she's my little assistant too. When I photograph other families, she sometimes comes along with her toy camera and “takes photos” as well.
She inspired me to keep memories for us. Now I want to create memories for you too.

A project close to my heart
It all began when the daughter of a dear friend was born. I wanted to give the little one something truly special, so I photographed the world exactly as it was on the day she arrived: a little corner of nature, seen from very close.
I love that every photograph in the series is one-of-a-kind and becomes a small time capsule: a gift that will tell a child, years from now, how much they meant to someone from the very first day.

Not at all. That describes most of the people I photograph. My role is to guide you step by step. I will tell you what to do with your hands, where to look and when to simply forget about me. Good photographs come from the moments that happen naturally between you.
Every memory is worth it. I won't ask them to sit nicely and smile on command; I want to capture the moments of connection between you. We play, run and explore, and I catch what happens along the way. I'm a mother myself, so I come with plenty of patience and enough silly faces in my repertoire.
Of course! Alongside the regular photographs, I can shoot frames made for social media where your little one's face isn't visible. We will also agree together, from the start, on which images may appear in my portfolio and which will stay just with you.
Most sessions take place in and around Brașov, outside or somewhere you love. We choose the location together, based on what suits you. For seasonal sessions the themed set is included. If you'd like a session outside Brașov, travel is quoted separately.
It depends on the package: 15, 25 or 50 edited photographs, delivered in an online gallery. If you love more frames than your package includes, you can add them individually for €4 each, or purchase the entire gallery of edited photographs for €40.
